of MATH-0950 (Beginning Algebra)
at Southeast Community College
in the Winter term of 2007.
I am Toby Bartels, the instructor.

The classes meet at Energy Square in room 100C
on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays,
section ES32 in the afternoon from 2:00 to 3:20,
and section ES34 from 11:00 to 12:20.
As an adjunct instructor,
I don't have an office, so I don't have office hours.
However, I can meet with you in the Energy Square common area after class;
please arrange this with me at the end of class,
so I don't go home or to lunch first.
You can also leave me email or voice mail any time.
I'll also be working as a tutor at Energy Square in room 109D
on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 10:30.
You can meet with me then,
although you won't have priority over students in other classes.
There is another tutor at Energy Square
on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00,
and there are math tutors on the main campus in room L5 throughout the week;
you may find it helpful to talk to somebody other than me,
to get a different perspective on things!
The first day of class (January 5 Friday),
I gave a brief introduction to the idea of algebra.
