Quizzes
In most weeks, the last 10 minutes of class one day
will be a quiz taken from the homework due since the previous quiz.
There will be no quizzes on exam days,
so there will be 7 quizzes in all.
Normally, the quizzes will be on Fridays,
although the last two quizzes will be on Wednesdays;
if (for any reason) we cannot hold a quiz as scheduled,
then we'll make it up on the next class day.
These will be like the homework,
especially the Practice Problems.
In fact, often the homework will be harder;
the trickiest sort of homework question won't appear on quizzes or exams.
For a quiz, you should not use any materials
other than those I provide for it.
You certainly should not talk to other people.
Calculators will sometimes be allowed, although you shouldn't really need them;
all of the numbers will be simple.
After I return a quiz, I'll post my solutions here;
see the downloading help
if you have trouble reading them.
(If you took a Quiz early or late,
then you may have taken the one from the other section,
or even a version different from any of those posted here.)
