Welcome to the home page for section ES33 of MATH-1150 (College Algebra) at Southeast Community College in the Fall term of 2012. I am Toby Bartels, the instructor.

Assignments

If you miss a homework assignment, then you can find it here. Eventually some solutions to graded homework will show up here too.

Attendance (taken every day);
Homework (assigned nearly every day);
Final exam (December 10 Monday).

Although only homework and the final exam contribute directly to your grade, attendance is also important.

Resources

The official textbook for the course is the 9th Edition of Algebra & Trigonometry published by Prentice-Hall (Pearson). You should be able to get this at the bookstore, and the homework problems will come from it.

I also have some notes for lectures, hand-outs, and so forth. If you missed class, then you might be able to find a substitute here. But there is no guarantee that everything will show up!
