We'll begin with a review of some concepts from College Algebra, especially material in Sections 2.1 and 2.4 of the textbook that often isn't covered in that class. Then we'll cover Chapters 7–10 from the textbook, except skipping Sections 8.7, 9.5, and 10.3. It's a lot of material for 10 weeks, so the class has to move pretty fast; please talk to me early if you need help!

The last day to drop the course with a full refund is January 11 Wednesday; the last day to drop at all is February 14 Tuesday. By February 10 Friday, your midterm grade estimates should be available on WebAdvisor; your final grades should be available by March 19 Monday.
