The official textbook is the 12th Edition of Calculus for Business, Economics, Life Sciences, and Social Sciences published by Prentice Hall (Pearson). In addition to a quick review of Chapters 1&2, we cover Chapters 3 through 7. This includes almost all of Calculus Made Easy, except for Chapters XV&XVI. Here is the complete list of covered sections: 3.1–3, 3.5, 3.7, 4.1–7, 5.1–6, 6.1&2, 6.5. Here they are again, in the approximate order in which I intend to cover them: 3.3, 3.5, 4.4, 4.3, 4.5, 5.2, 3.7, 4.6, 3.1, 3.2, 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, 5.1, 5.4, 4.1, 4.2, 4.7, 6.1, 6.5, 6.2. I'll announce it ahead of time if I change this order further. (To follow what we've covered so far, the easiest thing to do is to check the homework page.)
The last day to drop the course with a full refund is April 8 Monday; the last day to drop at all is May 10 Friday. By May 7 Tuesday, your midterm grade estimates should be available on WebAdvisor; your final grades should be available there on June 13 Thursday.
